The advisory committee is responsible for providing guidance to ConnectedHealth regarding its innovative, consumer-friendly e-commerce benefits platform designed to help people better manage their health and financial security. The committee specifically advises ConnectedHealth on the methodologies and algorithms driving consumer recommendations within the platform, and helps ensure all recommendations are sound, personalized and objective.

Each member brings unique experience to the committee:
Carol and Steve Ekdahl – The Ekdahls are principals in Diversified Financial Services, Inc. and have worked in the field of estate planning consulting and estate settlement for more than 30 years. Their clients range from small- to high-net worth individuals and business owners, and their expertise includes insurance, organization and problem solving.
Kathryn Kennedy – Kennedy is a partner at HPM Partners‘ Chicago office, is a leader of the firm’s national Executive Financial Counseling practice, and is an advisor to clients. She has more than 15 years of financial planning experience.
Gregory W. Monsen – Monsen is president of Detterbeck Johnson & Monsen, a boutique CPA firm with a focus on closely held businesses and high-net worth individuals. Monsen is focused on the areas of taxation and valuation and has successfully represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service and in litigation matters for more than two decades.
Christopher P. Sherman – Sherman is senior vice president at UBS Financial Services Inc. with more than 30 years of experience as a financial advisor. Sherman has distinguished himself among his peers by earning UBS’s Wealth Advisor designation and is also certified as a portfolio manager as part of the firm’s Portfolio Management Program.
Tracy Heilman – Heilman, ConnectedHealth’s consumer behavior strategist who designs ConnectedHealth’s consumer-facing decision support tools, will chair the committee.
